Make AI Tools Work for You
As I’ve worked with more small communications and marketing teams, I’ve been thinking about how much we are leaving on the table when it comes to AI tools. With such shockingly fast adoption, the feeling was that communications and marketing jobs would quickly evaporate. Instead, people are using the tools to become more effective. For many tasks, these tools are a chance to ‘pre-start’ a task and get to work. But they are just tools and people are working the tools to their advantage. Resource-strapped teams and organizations are unlocking a new well of productivity and keeping their heads above the tide.
I’ve been helping comms teams work out ways to use these tools — digging in with stakeholders to map out pain points and provide a structure beyond the ubiquitous advice to ‘just try it.’ Like lots of tech tools, you can get a lot more out of them than you realize. And though I’m far from an AI evangelist, I am excited to see teams learn to use these tools to eliminate drudgery and repetition and unlock space for creativity and insight in their work. If you have a team that could use help getting started, let’s talk!
And who are you?

And you are…?
My name is Tarek Rizk. I am a seasoned marketing professional with three decades of experience helping a wide variety of clients — startups, think tanks, nonprofits and foundations — get the most out of their technology and partnerships. I’ve worked in-house and at agencies and I have developed strategies to jump into using AI tools with confidence. These companies are competing with each other right now and we have a chance to take advantage of that moment and make the most of powerful tech to make an impact. But that starts with listening to your team, navigating concerns and exploring together. Let me know if I can help your team. Let’s talk.
